☆Work performed by our company☆
[Engine-related]
To ensure a safe and enjoyable driving experience, the engine itself was fully overhauled. Not only was it improved in performance, but the exterior was also thoroughly refreshed.
All major components, including the crankcase, cylinder head, and camshaft housing, were disassembled and meticulously cleaned using wet blasting. While checking their condition, the valve guides, piston rings, intermediate shaft bearings, tensioners, rocker arms, and other parts were replaced, and even the timing chain alignment and valve timing/tappets were adjusted during the assembly, with attention to detail.
In addition, all hoses, including the oil hoses, oil cooler pipes, and thermostat, have been renewed. The fuel system also includes new fuel hoses, pump, regulator, and filter, and the ignition system’s distributor, spark plugs, and cords have all been replaced, ensuring excellent starting and combustion stability.
Through this thorough maintenance down to the smallest details, the inherent powerful feeling of an air-cooled Porsche is maximized, resulting in an engine in perfect condition for long-lasting, reliable driving enjoyment.
