[Engine-related]
This vehicle has undergone a full engine overhaul. We went beyond simple replacement of consumable parts; every step—disassembly, measurement, machining, and reassembly—was performed with meticulous care to restore the engine to a state where it delivers its original performance and driving feel.
The overhaul process began with engine disassembly, followed by wet-blasting and deep cleaning of major components such as the cylinder heads, camshaft housings, and pistons. The engine was then reassembled while carefully measuring and inspecting each part. During this process, all valve guides were replaced, and valve seats were cut and valves lapped for a precise seal. Furthermore, we performed precision adjustments to valve timing and standardized exhaust gas emissions and idling characteristics to ensure the engine is in optimal overall condition. We have also replaced components such as piston rings and various gaskets, and renewed the camshaft and valve covers. Oil and breather hoses have been replaced to minimize the risk of oil leaks and other issues.
For the ignition system, we replaced the distributor cap and rotor, spark plug wires, and spark plugs to ensure stable combustion efficiency.
The exhaust muffler has undergone deep cleaning and polishing.
We also paid close attention to the aesthetics of the engine bay, performing deep cleaning and component refurbishment to bring out the authentic beauty of the air-cooled Porsche engine compartment.

[Suspension & Undercarriage]
To restore the vehicle to its original Porsche suspension condition, we have carried out an intensive refresh focusing primarily on the suspension and braking systems. Regarding the suspension, we replaced the front and rear shock absorbers while also refreshing components such as dust boots and bump stops. Revitalizing the aging suspension system has not only improved ride comfort but also enhanced road-holding capabilities and stability during high-speed driving.
For the braking system, we replaced the front and rear rotors, pads, and hoses, refreshing everything down to the pad sensors and damping plates. The maintenance work focused not only on stopping power but also on optimizing brake feel and controllability.
We also replaced power steering hoses (including molded and pressure hoses) and the power steering belt, as well as the front lower control arm bushings; these measures have improved steering feel and increased the overall rigidity of the suspension system.
By thoroughly addressing the fundamental aspects of driving—accelerating, cornering, and braking—we have created a vehicle that allows you to confidently enjoy the direct, engaging handling characteristic of air-cooled Porsches. [Exterior]
For the exterior, we focused not merely on repainting, but on restoring the finish to its original, intended quality.
We began with a thorough deep cleaning of the entire body, including inner and under-panels. We then assessed the condition of the existing paintwork, stripping away areas showing deterioration or poor adhesion and repairing any scratches or dents. During the surface preparation phase, we meticulously sanded the primer to ensure smoothness and adhesion, while also properly scuffing the surface to guarantee optimal paint bonding before applying the full respray. This painstaking preparation ensures a uniform paint finish and crisp body lines, accurately reproducing the iconic shape of the 964 model. Additionally, ancillary components were refinished in flat black, and the wheels were painted to match, creating a cohesive overall look.
Regarding the lighting, we replaced the front left and right turn signal lamps, headlight lenses, side marker lenses, and the rear center garnish to eliminate cloudiness and deterioration caused by aging. The front windshield has been replaced, and the seals for both the front and rear glass have been renewed. These measures ensure improved visibility and reliable waterproofing.
Furthermore, a wide range of components—including hood struts, washer nozzles, stone guards, the rear spoiler wall, various emblems, and assorted seals and gaskets—have been replaced. Items such as the engine under-cover and damping mats have also been swapped for new ones, ensuring a meticulous finish that extends beyond visible areas to the finest details.
Through this work, the vehicle not only boasts a beautiful exterior but also possesses the commanding presence and high level of refinement characteristic of an air-cooled Porsche.

[Interior]
The interior has been refreshed with a focus on both comfort and quality, all while preserving the car’s original atmosphere. Rather than radically altering the cabin, we have restored its condition while respecting its authentic character, allowing you to fully enjoy the premium ambiance of an air-cooled Porsche. To begin with, the cabin underwent a comprehensive cleaning, followed by the replacement of the steering wheel leather and the reupholstering of the front left seat. Additionally, the instrument cluster, carpeting, and other leather components were cleaned and restored; this process minimized signs of wear from aging while reviving the material’s natural texture.
We also replaced various small parts, including the floor mats, door entry plates, seat recline hinge covers, ashtray, and inner door seals. The rear speaker grilles were replaced as well, further elevating the overall quality and feel of the cabin interior.
